  1. Share with us your story of when and why you left school?

On April year 2018, I decided to stop my studies due to lack of financial means.

  1. Lessons learned from being in school?

Everyone wants to go to school not only for the sake of it, but to build themselves. In school, you'll learn your capabilities with the people surrounding you.

  1. Lessons learned from being out-of-school?

What I have learned before from being in school can also help my daily life now on how to step outside of myself and hopefully be able to provide for my needs by working.

  1. What's keeping you busy these days?

Being an out-of-school youth (OSY), I needed someone for companionship so I decided to get married early. I'm happy keeping my life busy with my duties for my family.

  1. If given the chance, do you want to go back to some type of school?

Yes, I want to pursue my studies, but I can't so for now, I need to find ways to earn. If that day comes, I’ll do it for my future and for myself if as it’s what I have been doing before.

  1. What was the most difficult part of being an out-of-school youth?

When you want to find a stable job, but you’re told you’re not capable of it. By that time you'll pity yourself, yet life must go on.

  1. What are opportunities you wish are more available to OSY?

I wish that the standard of the companies are not based on what education level you have finished.

  1. Words to live by

When you want to live, find, believe, and do it. Face your fears.

  1. Your definition of success

Being OSY or not being successful cannot define your tomorrow. Only God knows about it, but have faith that you can achieve what you want to be.
